Story
In a world where spontaneous human combustion, known as “Spontaneous Human Combustion” or “Infernals,” has ravaged Tokyo, a special firefighting force called the Special Fire Force is formed to combat this phenomenon. The Fire Force consists of pyrokinetic individuals, including Shinra Kusakabe, a youth with the ability to ignite his feet at will, who joins Company 8, a team of firefighters with unique abilities.
As Shinra delves deeper into the mysteries of Infernals, he uncovers a sinister plot connected to his own troubled past and the truth behind a devastating fire that killed his family 12 years ago.
