Joo Seo Yeon is a passionate high school physical education teacher with a robust character. She consistently wears her training gear or jeans and sneakers all year round. Having faced difficulties because of her attractive older and younger brothers, she dislikes good-looking men. Her ideal type is someone who is "not handsome." She frequently clashes with the handsome Lee Kang Woo on various matters.
Lee Kang Woo serves as the chairman of the high school's board. He is extremely arrogant and fixated on appearance, enjoying the attention of others and admiring his own looks. He dedicates 12 hours a day to enhancing his appearance, which is flawless and handsome. However, he harbors a secret: he is haunted by past trauma. Fifteen years ago, he was overweight and unattractive, leading to his rejection by Seo Yeon. Following an incident of acute enteritis on the school bus, he had to transfer schools. Through sessions with a renowned psychologist, he discovered that his irritable bowel syndrome is linked to that girl from 15 years ago. He eventually became the chairman of the school where she now works. She has changed significantly; in the past, she disliked unattractive men, and now she dislikes handsome ones.
